While I was in Willow at Fabrizio’s kennel, he asked me if I could design a quick logo to put on the back ogf his race suit. A few minutes of brainstorm and I came up with the design showed on the first picture above. Then he we took the dog tails away as it would’ve been difficult to read from afar, and the result is what you see in the other 4 flix. My logo went all the way from Anchorage to Nome!!! What an honor!

Ero a Willow ospite di Fabrizio Lovati nel suo kennel. Mi ha chiesto di fargli un logo da mettere sul retro della tuta, sotto il pettorale. Qualche minuto di brainstorm e ho tirato fuori il logo abbozzato nella prima foto. Poi s’è deciso di togliere le code perchè altrimenti sarebbe stato poco visibile ed il gioco era fatto. Il mio logo ha fatto la Iditarod Race 2008, da Anchorage a Nome!!! Che onore!!!

Terreno fermo, duro e pronto a scratchare con l’epidermide o a scrocchiare ossa.

Si muove solo il freestyler e le ombre che lo inseguono.

Hard surface, perfectly still, ready to scratch with your skin or crunch your bones.

Only the freestyler moves, the shadows chasing him.

When you go to summer sessions on alpine glaciers, you’re so pumped up that you’d rip the place up…just until you make it to the top of the snow park and realize how high and fast the pros are shredding the structures…that’s when you start lying low…
It’s amazing nonetheless.

Queste foto sono del 2003, si sale sul ghiacciaio fomentatissimi e appena si arriva al park ci si sente intimoriti dal livello tecnico dei pro che frullano come se la forza di gravità la comandassero loro.

Strutture da saltone, ma il “pelo” è da saltino… (-:D

Il mio amico Gipsy’s Broke ha composto Flow Away, la canzone che sentite, mentre viaggiava in lungo e in largo.

Maurizione diceva di portarci a giocare nel suo giardino, che è il lato italiano del Monte Bianco, e io mi ci fermavo volentieri, con molti di voi, e altri che non passano più sul blog.

Vi porto nel mio di giardino, il lato francese del suddetto massiccio, sulle note della canzone di Emiliano Gipsy, perchè ieri proprio non valeva la pena continuare il fight club, con un parco giochi così.

I fiorelli sono tutti per le donzelle, non molte, ma buone, a cominciare dalla mia tigrotta, chiedo venia per il mio brusco alterco, spero di non ripeterlo più.

My friend Gipsy’s Broke composed the song you hear while traveling all over.

My mate Maurizio used to invite us bloggers, to visit his backyard, the Mont Blanc, and I remember I would stay long, along with other bloggers now gone their way.

Today I’ll take you to my side of the back yard, the French side, with Emiliano’s soundtrack, flow away. Better to flow away indeed, no need to fight with such a backyard, innit?

The flowers are for the ladies, not many but most welcome, starting from my tiger, I apologize for having been so rough and wild. I’ll try to refrain from repeating the rampage.

E’ con enormi denti….eeeehhmmm, con enorme gioa che embeddo questo cortometromaggio, tributo ad un cult movie della “glisse”, Apocalypse Snow del 1983, regia di Didier Lafond, con Regis Rolland e Alain Gaimard, nomi mitici nel mondo dello Snowboard e non solo.

Il corto e’ presente anche su NatGeoAdventure.it dove concorro a Freestyle Adventure come ho spiegato gia’ in questo post. Se capitate e votate/commentate, mi aiutate a vincete…eehm, vincere il Macbook Air. Dai, muovete il dito e cliccate giusto. Grazie!

Tre riders di Chamonix, Tim “Bilbo” Bowden, Phil Martin e il Dr. Geekyl (trasformatosi poi in Mr. Haeyde, dopo aver bevuto lo snowshake magico, protagonista della prima parte del corto) si uniscono agli inseguitori…

Ce la faranno a riconquistare “la combinaison magique?” (la tuta magica)

Snowmilk shakes magici, basi segrete, monoskiers, snowboarders, freeskiers, telemarkers, speed skiers, sqwal riders, neve fresca, catamarani (!!), canotti (!)avventura mozzafiato sulle alpi savoiarde, per un tributo in stile libero a un cult movie della glisse: Apocalypse Snow, del 1983.

It’s with enormous teeth that…aaeheem, with enormous joy that I embed this short video, a tribute to a cult movie, Apocalypse Snow by Didier Lafond, the movie that started the snowboarding revolution in Europe, among other things.

The short video is also on NatGeoAdventure.it where I’m taking part in Freestyle Adventure contest like I already explained in this post. If you happen to visit, please vote or leave a comment and I might win the Macbook Air. C’mon, move you as…fingers!

It took me some days to put it together, and here’s how the story goes:

Since 25 years the secret of riding is secretly kept in a magic suit.
If by any chance someone steals it, he will become the genius of riding, in all disciplines, and nobody will be able to catch him.
