Il Capo di Buona Speranza. Cape of Good Hope.

Quante volte lo avrete sentito nominare a scuola o nella vita?
Uno dei posti più famosi del mondo, sicuramente uno dei più suggestivi.

E’ un parco nazionale, recintato, mancano i famosi Big Five, ma ci sono enormi struzzi, zebre, elands, babbuini (come dico nel video alla verdone lol lol (0:) innumerevoli uccelli, balene, orche, pinguini, delfini e squali che nuotano nel tourbillon generato dall’incontro tra l’oceano indiano e l’oceano atlantico.

E poi surfisti, villaggi boeri, basi della marina sudafricana, turisti awanagana, italiani in ferie/sfliata di moda, francesi idem, babbuini ladri e meschini (occhio!!), tramonti e pescatori.

Cape Point and the peninsula are a prime destination in the surroundings of Cape Town.
It’s a combination of supreme and makestic nature, and beautiful human settlements, that survived so far, waves of tourist invasions.

Thanks to Joanne Huysamen for taking a saturday to her life off, to drive me around for more than a 100km in total, first around Cape Town and Table Mountain, then all the way down to Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope panel. Grazie Jo!!!!!

If you go to Cape Town, don’t miss the Cape Peninsula. Jo was right, the place is unique, two oceans melt and in the resulting tourbillon, whales, sharks dolphins, penguins seal, swim nearly undisturbed, watched by the animals of the national park that enclose Cape Point.
